The world is such an odd place to live in - When you have an insight to what can be done to save it, or work on it with a couple of people within an Organization that supposedly care for a Cause, you’re bombarded from left to right about civility, accountability, and designation.

Mediocrity always attack excellence!

This happened to me recently when a member of the NGO I was attached to came to Malaysia {from the United States} - The first thing was an online discussion followed by insinuations of incompetencies. I have been working and developing NGOs from as early as the eighties - and mind you, online and off line. I work in a methodic fashion, ensuring things are in placed in its own place - own folders, own jurisdictions.

No, someone with a more brilliant idea and with little knowledge of how Malaysia and Malaysians are being managed, and wherewith IT is concerned had to come and shuffle things up, and then instead of continuing with the current setup, abolished the existing, whilst deciding to take over instead of making do with what we already have and saving money - the typical coup d’état or a so-called glocalization {aka colonization} exercise.

Bloody hell, we’re Asians here - If we were so hopeless in dealing with things, China would not have bought over America saving it from its utter depression! {Which btw, is going down the drain, getting ready for the ultimate takeover - A Zionist Israel State but they’re too blind to see that so why should I even bother writing about it anyway!}

If that is not politics, I don’t know what is.

If we had people with minds the likes of Google who discovered unused spectrum in the US 700 -MHz debate, things would have been better, but dealing with common people with small minds can be tediously frustrating. People who believe and prefer working with having designation{s} under their name{s} are missing the point in Team work. If designations are important, then Project Managers should learn to get to know each of the staff and work together instead of breaking up the whole setup. One does not disband a group of people who actually produce work during the 2 years tenure in an NGO and accuse them for not producing unless one has an agenda to re-invent the wheel whilst squeezing money from donators and funders.

Let’s not even touch management with someone proclaiming 26 years of International Management experience there! A good Manager will accept blame for the trivialness and support its support staff instead of blaming each and everyone for his failure to launch the bloody organization. In my previous blog, I wrote about the delay, wondering if they were ever going to launch. With that flaky management, I knew something was not right even from the beginning - but then again, what do I know?

And the so-called Muslims in the so-called Multi faith organization I know are busy with compliance with what constitutes an Islaamic State? For crying out loud - the Qur’aan has everything in it in determining what is and isn’t an Islaamic State!

This must perforce be an Islaam that would be devoid of all notions of Jihaad - hence Hadharism {Hadhari} and Wahhaabism {Wahhaabi} - isn’t this the slant where the NGO I was attached to is working on?

I’ve only seen the Black and Red Banners in an onslaught in a vision some twenty years ago - but what do I know? - I’m just minding my business, looking for a new startup, NGO, or company where my skills and expertise can be best put to work.
