Bringing Up Humans

A devious thought ran across my mind yesterday. I shook my head – non, these children are good.

I went through the stash of papers collected over the years, from one house to another, and decided to clear it all off my table. Recycling came into my mind – my idea of recycling paper would at best be either a series of montage, or a papier mache collection, and I so am not in the mood to indulge. I’d torment these children, the nephews and niece if they forgot their Ps & Qs they’d most likely see their photos plastered on the Internet.

They instantaneously became saints overnight – I’d make a good mother. Had their mother been around, she’d glared at me for the strange montessori methods of ‘teaching’ her kids to sit upright instead of slouching; to speak clearly without having to roll their eyes and playing with their feet; and the plethora too much to mention. I’d make a terrible mother if I didn’t take the time to be with them seventy-six/24.

“Women gather together to wear silly hats, eat dainty food, and forget how unresponsive their husbands are.  Men gather to talk sports, eat heavy food, and forget how demanding their wives are.  Only where children gather is there any real chance of fun ~ Mignon McLaughlin, The Neurotic’s Notebook, 1960″

Education is as important as bringing up children. Leave children to be children without checking on them would result in a feverish dance the world would experience. Expressions are good, but not when it entails bullying the species till death us do part – the world is afterall, a playground of the Gods, and that differs man from the beasts they slaughter to dine in fancy restaurants. We wouldn’t want to see that would we – what with the insanities some Administration{s} do when serving and tyrannizing those they serve.

And they say, we Aliens will one day come and rule their worlds – maybe its time we do.
